Our Youth Ambassador Program is created for intellectually curious, independent, and mature students aged 12-15 to assist within the various departments of Carbon County Museum.

This program is designed to introduce students to the inner-workings of the museum and is geared towards those who want to share their love of history while learning new skills.

Youth Ambassadors interact with our visitors by greeting them at the front desk and assist with museum events, program preparation and execution. They also assist the different department heads in their duties and they research and curate a yearly exhibit on their own.

Without the help of our Youth Ambassadors, the programs and events that Carbon County puts on would not be possible, and we are always looking for new helping hands for our programs.

If you know a student who would benefit from joining our program, please encourage them to complete the online application. If you have any questions or would like more information on this program, please contact Madeline Fanta at education@carboncountymuseum.org

Please note that the Carbon County Museum is an inclusive space and we welcome students of all abilities.

To participate in the Youth Ambassadors Program you must fill out the Youth Ambassador Agreement Form.

The form may be downloaded using the button below.
