July 2019 – Summer Camps
For two weeks in July, campers explored various facets of Carbon County History and engaged in hands-on exploration and learning. Great fun was had by all!
May 30, 2019 – Opening Reception for “Grace, Grit, and Guts: The Women of Carbon County.” 5 – 7 PM
The opening reception of our newest exhibit celebrating the 150th anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in Wyoming by highlighting the women of Carbon County. The reception included an original living history skit, written by our educator, Madeline Fanta. Kelia McCuddy played Dr. Lillian Heath and Laura Friend played a time traveler in search of information for a school project.
